Flavors of Nice – Market Stroll, Cooking Class & Lunch with a Local Touch

The tour begins at the Cours Saleya market, located in the heart of Old Nice, where locals and visitors mingle under striped awnings and the morning sunlight.
Wander among stalls brimming with seasonal produce, wild herbs, fragrant spices, candied fruit, and fresh flowers that tell the true story of the Riviera. Most of these ingredients are organic, grown in family gardens in the hinterland and deeply rooted in the region's identity.
Under the guidance of your host, you'll prepare a lunch that reflects both the terroir and the soul of Nice, sharing stories, techniques, and flavors along the way.
Around 1:30 PM, the kitchen transforms into a dining room, and you'll sit down together to savor the fruits of your labor: an authentic Niçoise meal accompanied by a refreshing glass of rosé or, if you prefer, a distinctive local red or white wine.
