Your day begins in Aix-en-Provence at 9:00 a.m., where you will meet your friendly local guide. Hop aboard our comfortable minibus and enjoy the scenic drive through the Provençal countryside on the way to the Valensole Plateau—your first stop of the day.
The Valensole Plateau is one of Provence’s most iconic sights during lavender season. From mid-June to mid-July, your guide will take you to the best viewpoints to admire and photograph the endless purple fields. You will also visit a local producer to learn more about lavender cultivation and discover the many products made in the region.
The tour continues with a visit to the charming village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, renowned for its traditional earthenware workshops. Enjoy free time to wander through the village at your own pace and have lunch (not included).
In the afternoon, you will head to the Pont de Galetas, where you can admire stunning views of the Verdon River’s turquoise waters, followed by a stop in one of the villages around Lake Sainte-Croix.
After a full day exploring the highlights of Provence, you will be driven back to Aix-en-Provence, with arrival scheduled for around 6:30 p.m.
