Feel the unique atmosphere of the local market in Provence

Your tour begins in Aix-en-Provence, where you’ll meet your friendly local guide before setting off in a comfortable minivan. As you travel through the countryside, enjoy the scenic landscapes that make Provence so unforgettable.

Your expert guide will introduce you to some of the region’s best traditional markets, where you can stroll among colorful stalls and experience the sights, sounds, and aromas of authentic Provençal life.

The first stop is Gordes, one of the most famous villages in the Luberon. Built entirely of dry stone, the village offers stunning views over the Luberon Mountains. Its market can be enjoyed on Tuesdays; on other days, a photo stop is scheduled. From mid-June to mid-July, the tour also includes a brief stop at Sénanque Abbey to photograph the iconic lavender fields in bloom.

Continue to Roussillon, known for its vibrant ochre-colored houses (market on Thursdays), followed by Lourmarin, one of the most beautiful market towns in the Luberon, famous for its Renaissance castle (market on Fridays). On Saturdays, the tour may include Apt, renowned for its candied fruits, while on Sundays you’ll visit the charming village of Ansouis.

The day concludes with a stop in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, before returning to Aix-en-Provence. Free time for lunch is provided. The order of visits may vary according to market days and season.
